April Seminar and Dinner meeting  

The Triad Chapter of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is excited to present and invite you to the April 13th meeting featuring "How to Excel as an Independent Consultant and What Companies Look For".  This meeting will feature our very own Ms. Treena Jackson, MS, CQA, RAC who is president of Quality Resource Consulting, Inc. and Mr. Shawn Gorman, a counselor at SCORE.

 SCORE the “Counselors of America’s Small Business Owners” is a national association dedicated to helping small business owners form and grow their businesses. Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and Washington D.C., SCORE has 364 chapters in the United States as well as in U.S territories. SCORE is a partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).  Mr. Gorman is from the Greensboro chapter and a retired business executive, who has worked in chemical and fiber manufacturing, will speak about the resources available to start your own business and steps to take to be successful.

 Mrs. Jackson, an 11 year veteran in the quality, training and regulatory fields for pharmaceutical companies, will co-present focusing more on the pros and cons of consulting in the quality profession and her experiences as a small business owner and QA consultant or for the past 3 years.  This will segway into a Q&A segment that will follow giving attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions and surely walk away with new information, ideas and potentially inspiration to either enhance your current business, obtain more support through networking or start a business of your own!

In addition, one of our ASQ Fellows,  Mr. Charles Volk will present his version of "ASQ SQUARES" complete with  prizes for contestants.
