The Benefits
of Integrated Business
Management:
Over the
years, many companies have moved from
disconnected management processes, with all
their informality and fire-fighting activities,
to having capable planning and control
processes in place. This movement has allowed
companies to improve their customer service,
improve their inventory management, improve
direct labor management and lower purchasing
costs.
In 2006, RJ
Reynolds implemented Oliver Wight’s Integrated
Business Management Process (including Sales
and Operations Planning). This
implementation has resulted in significantly
more value and benefits from its S&OP
processes.
This presentation will provide specific examples of the benefits of Integrated Business Management at R J Reynolds.
